City staff will offer a unique opportunity to learn more about fiscal operations by each City department under the leadership of its newly appointed City Manager/Chief Financial Officer Suzy Cluse. Departmental budgets and upcoming improvements in the city will be discussed in addition to neighborhood requests/concerns in preparation for the Balch Springs City Council 2014 – 2015 Fiscal Year budget hearings.

“It’s a way to make citizens an active part of the community,” says Cluse. Updates on STAR Transit will also give insight to the City’s public transportation system with an expectation to increase its usage. Lastly, Economic Development Executive Director John Hubbard will provide information on how our commUNITY is growing economically.
